Calculate the fee of a project contract

In a project contract, Weikos can suggest the fee from the project services the person takes part in. Your institution decides whether it’s counted per service or per working day. What it suggests is a starting point: you can always change it by hand.

  1. Go to Settings › General settings › Contract Preferences.
  2. In the Fee for project contracts card, choose Per service or Per working day.
  3. If you choose per day, enter the General daily fee. It applies to the artistic categories that don’t have their own daily fee.

It saves automatically. It applies to the whole institution, not to each contract.

  • Per service counts each service at the price of its service type and the contract’s artistic category.
  • Per working day counts days: a day with one or more services counts once, and a service lasting several days counts each day it takes up, including the last. Days are counted in your institution’s time zone. Service types don’t come into this mode.

In Artistic Categories, each category has its Fee per service. If your institution counts per day, the column becomes Daily fee: what you enter there replaces the general daily fee for that category. Both amounts are kept separately, so switching modes doesn’t delete either.

  1. Open the project contract, with its project, ensemble and artistic category chosen.
  2. In Contract details, click Calculate fee.
  3. In Fee calculation, check the breakdown. You can change the number and the fee before applying it.
  4. Click Apply and save the contract.

Per service, the contract shows Number of services and Fee per service. Per day, Number of days and Daily fee, and the breakdown has a single row, Working days. If a contract needs counting differently, change the values by hand: the total is recalculated the same way.

The dates the contract suggests run from the first day of the first service to the last day taken up by the last service.

Service types your institution has left out of work plans, such as rest days or days off, don’t count: they aren’t paid, they aren’t working days and they don’t appear in the contract’s associated services either.

  • The calculation shows ⚠ Outdated. It was made before something that affects it changed, such as how your institution counts the fee. It doesn’t change on its own: click Recalculate if you want the new amount.
  • Calculate fee is greyed out. Hover over it to see what’s missing: the project, the ensemble or the artistic category. Training contracts and service commission contracts aren’t calculated automatically.
  • It counts one day too many or too few. Each service counts every day it takes up, in your institution’s time zone. If this contract needs counting differently, change Number of days by hand.
