Check your time records

Your time records show every clock-in and clock-out you’ve recorded and how long you’ve worked. The hours summary also compares what you’ve done with your contract’s weekly hours: at a glance you know how much is left and whether you’re on track. How to clock in and out is explained in Clock in and out.

  1. In the menu, go to My Weikos › My time tracking.
  2. Choose the period with This week, This month or a date range.
  3. Each row is a record, with the clock-in, the clock-out and the Total. A record without a clock-out stays open until you clock out.

Your records are for consulting only: they don’t open from the list and they can’t be corrected or deleted. If your institution allows it, the ⋮ menu on each row has Label to add a tag. Records are created by clocking in and out, and correcting them is up to whoever manages your institution.

The hours summary adds up all your hours for the period, not just the ones on the page on screen, and compares them with your contract. In the apps it’s a card above the “Time tracking” list, for the period you’ve chosen and with the same figures. This is how you open it on the web:

Example with made-up data
  1. In My time tracking, click Hours summary, above the table. It opens with the period you’ve filtered.
  2. Change the period with This week, This month, the previous and next period arrows, or a date range.
  3. At the top you have the hours for the period and the number of records.

In Compared with your contract there’s a bar for each contract with time tracking:

  • Your hours against your contract’s. On the right you see the hours you’ve done and, after the slash, the ones that correspond to you in that period. Per contract: … h a week is your contract’s weekly hours.
  • What you should have done by today. The vertical line on the bar marks Expected by today: …. If the bar goes past it, you’re ahead; if it doesn’t reach it, you’re behind.
  • What’s left. … to go is what you still need to complete the period. If you go over, the extra part shows in orange with Over by …, and if you hit it exactly, you’ll see Target met.
  • What’s in progress. The striped part is a record from today that has no clock-out yet: it counts up to now and will change when you clock out. At the top you’ll see it as including … in progress.
  • By day shows up if the period is a week or shorter: a bar per day and a dashed line with the hours that correspond to you each day.
  • Totals by tag adds up the hours for each tag, if your institution tags the records.
  • Your contract’s weekly hours are spread over its working days in the period (Monday to Friday if the contract doesn’t set them), and only the days within your contract dates count.
  • Your institution’s holidays don’t count, unless your contract says you work on holidays. Your approved leaves are also deducted: a whole day for a full-day leave, or only its hours for an hourly one. Pending ones don’t count until they’re approved.
  • A record from today without a clock-out counts up to now. Records without a clock-out from earlier days aren’t added, and the summary tells you how many there are.
  • If your contract doesn’t state weekly hours, you see your hours but not the comparison.
  • You don’t see «Mi control horario» or «Control horario». Your institution hasn’t turned on time tracking in your contract, or doesn’t use time tracking in Weikos. It doesn’t appear with a contract that has ended either. In the apps, the «Control horario» menu may still appear with no records: it’s the same thing.
  • The summary doesn’t say how much is left. You see The contract doesn't state weekly hours, so there's nothing to compare with.. If you’re entitled to some weekly hours, ask your institution to set them in your contract.
  • The hours don’t add up. Check whether any record has no clock-out: today’s count up to now and earlier days’ aren’t added. What corresponds to you only counts your contract’s working days, without holidays unless you work on them and without your approved leaves; a pending leave isn’t deducted until it’s approved.
  • A record is missing or wrong. You can’t correct or delete them: ask your institution to correct it and tell them the day and the real times.
