Manage spaces

Spaces are the rooms, concert halls and other places where services and performances take place. They’re set up in SettingsGeneral settingsActivity, and the ones that belong to your institution also have an occupancy calendar.

  1. Go to Spaces and click Add space.
  2. Enter the name, which is required, and optionally the address, details and colour.
  3. If it’s part of another space, for example a rehearsal room inside a concert hall, choose that space as the main one.
  4. Mark it as your own space if it belongs to your institution. Leave it active so it can be used.
  5. Click Save.

Only active spaces are offered when creating services and performances. To stop using one, deactivate it: it can only be deleted if it has no services or sub-spaces.

Your own spaces also have an occupancy calendar. In DashboardCalendar, turn them on in the left column, under Own spaces: you’ll see the services held in each one.

  • A space doesn’t appear when creating a service or a performance. It’s deactivated. Activate it in Spaces.
  • You can’t delete a space. Cannot delete a space with services or Cannot delete a space with sub-spaces appears. Deactivate it so it’s no longer offered.
  • You don’t see Own spaces in the calendar. No space is marked as your own, or your access role doesn’t manage spaces.
  • You don’t see this page in the settings. Your access role doesn’t include the institution’s settings. Talk to the person who manages it.

If a space isn’t saved or doesn’t appear where it should, write to us at help@weikos.io with a screenshot.
